Niemiec Wins Greenville News Run Downtown

ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Joe Niemiec ran 14:53 to win the 41st edition of the Greenville News Run Downtown 5K. It was Niemiec's first competition as a member of the post-collegiate, Olympic development program as he relocated to Greenville from Michigan to join the program in October. He took the lead after a first mile of 4:55 and ran alone for the remainder of the course though downtown Greenville.
