New GTC Hall of Fame Inductees

The Greenville Track Club inducted two new members to its Hall of Fame during their October monthly meeting. Long time member (since 1989) Ian Whatley was honored for his stellar athletic achievements, including qualifying for and competing in eight US Olympic Track and Field Trials. The other inductee was Stewart Spinks, the Chairman of the Board and founder of the Spinx Company. Spinx has been the title sponsor of one of the GTC's major events--the Spinx Run Fest-- since 2005.

The Greenville Track Club is celebrating its 50th year.
