Which Team Will Win The Darrell Jennewine Corporate Cup Challenge?

In 2016 we  added a new competition to the TD Bank Reedy River Run with the Darrell Jennewine Corporate Cup Challenge. Named in honor of the late Greenville Track Club  administrator who was instrumental in developing the Corporate Shield program, This competition is open to all business corporations and is for actual employees only (not spouses or children of employee). This competition is part of the 10K event only.

Their will once again be two challenges: 
1st Challenge
The "fastest" corporate team will win the Darrell Jennewine Corporate Cup and special awards for each scoring member (six) of the team. Scoring will be based on the total time of the top six finishers for each corporate team. To encourage participation, for each additional finisher up to ten (after the top 6 finisher/scorers) per corporate team that finishes under 75 minutes for the 10K a bonus of 30 seconds will be subtracted from the total combined time of the top six finishers. 

For example: Team XYZ has six finishers with times of 36:15, 39:45, 42:30, 45:00, 47:30 and 50:00 that produce a combined total time of 15660 seconds or 261 minutes. They also have ten additional finishers under the 75 minute limit, which each contribute a "bonus" time deduction of 30 seconds; which would be a total of 300 seconds (or 5 minutes). Subtracting the "bonus" deduction the official combined time for Team XYZ is 255 minutes (actual scoring will be done to the seconds level).

Example: Team XYZ = (1) 36:15 + (2) 39:45 + (3) 42:30 + (4th) 45:00 + (5th) 47:30 + (6th) 50:00 = 15660 seconds - { 10  (finishers under 75 minutes) x 30 seconds "bonus time deduction"} = 15,360 seconds (256 minutes)

FAST Facts:
Each corporate team has six (6) scoring members. Members must be full or part-time employees of the corporate team that they register. 
Every corporate team member after the first six finishers (up to ten) who finishes under 75 minutes receives a 30-second bonus (to subtract from the combined overall time of the first six (scoring) finishers. The "bonus" time reduction is limited to ten finisher under 75 minutes per team for a maximum bonus time reduction of 300 seconds (5 minutes).

2nd Challenge
The company team with the most participation will win the Darrell Jennewine Corporate Cup for best participation. This will be determined by the most finishers under 75 minutes in the 10K event from each participating company.
